WE ARE SUFFERING DOWN HERE BECAUSE NOBODY CARES - SUFFERATION, WE CAN'T TAKE NO MORE - JAH, YOUR CHILDREN NEED TO BE FREE -- TYRONE TYLER

The following is a "visual experience "of what life is like for the children and teens of this Desire, LA town. Desire is a town just outside of the City - it is part of New Orleans. You might remember the name Desire from the infamous play "A Street Car Named Desire", by Tennessee Williams.

This is what the children see when they look at their High School and Elementary Schools - George Washington Carver:

On the very same property, where they now attend school:

As I shared in the above story, no one seems to care enough about the emotional and mental welfare of these children enough to even put in plants and flowers. It looks like a detention center with all the fencing and the sterility of the buildings.

This is just one of the neighborhoods nearby the school that these children and teens - families, live in. Most of the neighborhoods are full of FEMA trailers. I must share with you the energy-vibration I perceived here - mostly from the adults who are doing the rebuilding - dignity, strength and fortitude.

This powerful quote speaks to me of the spiritual energies I perceive of the people who live in this area:

Poverty won't allow him to lift up his head;dignity won't allow him to bow it down.
--Madagasy Proverb

My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together.
