Have compassion for all beings, rich and poor alike; each has their suffering.
Some suffer too much, others too little.

DICHOTOMY (in this instance): Division into two usually contradictory parts.

Hi sis
i have a double i had bought in the 9th ward JUST (a week) before Katrina.
I waited 1 or 2 weeks after buying the house before i tried to get insurance.
By that time, Katrina was in the GULF and they dont write policies at that point.
SO no insurance.
I had also bought a 3-plex in NO east at the same time.

I buy and sell properties fopr a living, and wasnt making much money doing 1 at a time, so i wanted to try 2 properties.
Mistake !

Anyway, the biggest hypocracy comes from the ROAD HOME.

I was told that if my rental property was already rented i can not get $ from the road home.
This makes NO SENSE seeing as i took money out of my pocket to renovate these properties since it was taking so long for this program to develop.

I had already rented my 3 plex, so i wont get a dime for that.
The duplex is finished
(but not rented)
SO i have 2 rental units ready for someone to move in.
I need the money, and they need a place to live.
BUT if i rent it, i wont get a dime from the ROAD HOME, it is vacant, and has been since it was finished several months ago.

So i am waiting, and waiting...
no rental income coming in...

Now, if i get turned down for this programn will they give me a years worth of rent for those 2 units ?
Of course not.
WHY BOTHER, its more nerve wracking than its worth.

I think ill just sell everything and move to Costa Rica.

These people are absolute idiots.
